Lettered Sphinx

The first (as always) sphingid (Hawk Moth, Sphinx Moth) of the season flew in tonight  -  Lettered Sphinx .

I've found these to be among the more "tame"  moths and will readily rest on a fingertip (should one care to know about such things...)
