It's about time I added one of these to the site.  They arrive - I think I have plenty of time to grab a picture - then they're gone until the following year.   This time I nabbed the first one I saw.

And this is only the 2nd Dagger Moth 

(Acronictinae) I have here?  I'll have to remedy that.

The name Hebrew, or hebraeicum, makes reference to the wing markings, which resemble Hebrew characters.
