As if identifying moths wasn’t hard enough…
Here’s a pale brown little geometer that goes by the name “Emerald”. Why? Because there is a green form of this species - usually seen later in the season.
*Okay, it's three years later... But here's that green form. Sat on my front door for days. (May 19, 2010)
