Two arctiids in a row.  This is a very common moth known as the Painted Lichen Moth (Hypoprepia fucosa).  Last year I raised some larvae of this species by feeding them the lichen that grows on the dead trees in my yard.   It took them forever to pupate, since, as with many moths in this family, they overwinter as caterpillars.
