Prochoreutis inflatella
August 31, 2002

I was co-leading a limacodid hunt at Chatfield Hollow State Park (Killingworth - 10 minutes from my house), when I came across this tiny Choreutid along a wetland boardwalk.  It was zipping around amongst the virgin bower and was very wary of my approach.  It finally sat still long enough for me, and a few others, to photograph.

It's hard to tell the size from a photo, but this moth's only about a quarter inch across!
