This is a fairly common early season moth in my neck of the woods. The dark jagged subterminal line in the wing makes it pretty easy to pick out in a line up.
You wouldn't know by looking at one, but they can be surprisingly difficult to photograph. If you catch it at the wrong angle, the scales reflect the light and you end up with a blotchy white-gray moth. I picked out this one shot from about thirty attempts.
