  So, who's this Radcliffe? - the honorific chosen for this moth by Francis Harvey.

  Closest I could find was Augustus Radcliffe Grote, a juggernaut in the moth world at about the time this moth was named. Did Harvey opt for Grote's middle name? 

  Or, was there a different Radcliffe in play?

 Many of the Acronictas (Dagger Moths) have the fine, black markings as seen on this moth.
